The Space:
Mountain Views X by Tiny Away tiny houses sit in the peaceful town of Yarragon, within the Shire of Baw Baw. This farm stay is conveniently located between the towns of Warragul, just 10 minutes away, and Trafalgar, only 7 minutes away.
This 139-square-foot tiny home offers stunning views across the rolling hills of West Gippsland. From your bed, you can enjoy views of the district and Mt Baw Baw. Outside, unwind in your private garden with a cozy seating area and fire pit â perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars, warmed by the gentle crackle of a fire.
A cozy tiny house with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we have two tiny houses "Mountain Views 1 and Mountain Views 2," available with 24-hour notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.
Guest Access:
Guests can access our cozy tiny home and the designated visitor areas. Farm tours and other activities are available by booking with Glenn. The farm stay offers services like cattle handling, hay contracting, and pasture renovation, all focusing on sustainable farming.
Plus, guests can enjoy paddock picnics alongside friendly Highland cattle amid the beautiful farm scenery.

Escape to Mountain Views X by Tiny Away, tucked away in Yarragon in the beautiful Shire of Baw Baw. The tiny house is located between Warragul and Trafalgarâjust a little over an hour from Melbourne!
Thereâs plenty to explore nearby: check out the amazing Noojee Trestle Bridge, stroll through Toorongo Falls Reserve (just 10 minutes from Noojee), visit The Station Gallery right at the Yarragon train station, or take the family for a fun day out at Gumbuya World.
Love nature? Youâll find peaceful freshwater streams in the Baw Baw region, the scenic Blue Rock Lake near Willow Grove, and awesome hiking trails at Mount Worth State Parkâperfect for every level of explorer.
Getting Around:
By car:
- We are just 90 minutes east of Melbourne, off the Princes Highway (National Highway 1), approximately 108 km from Flinders Street Station. All accommodation is accessible by standard 2WD vehiclesâno 4WD required.
By public transport:
- Take the Gippsland Line train from Melbourne to Yarragon Stationâa scenic 90-minute ride.
- Yarragon is the nearest town, just 3 km from the farm. Nearby towns include Trafalgar (8 km east along the highway) and Warragul (18 km west).
Taxi Services:
- Taxi services are available, primarily operating from Warragul or Moe.
- Please note that wait times may vary, so we strongly recommend booking in advance for your convenience.
Other Things to Note:
- A Gas BBQ grill is provided.
- Family- and child-friendly accommodation
- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed
- No smoking inside the tiny home and outdoors
- Complimentary 600ml bottle of drinking water provided on the first night.
- Complimentary Basket of Firewood with kindling and matches on the first night
- Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone are the only mobile networks with reliable signal coverage
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- As an operating beef farm, all visitors are required to register via a QR code to help maintain biosecurity. Visitors will receive the QR code prior to arrival after notifying Glenn of their visit by text. Anyone participating in on-farm activities must use the boot cleaning station provided to protect our farm and the beef industry.
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
