Getting Around:
There is onsite parking in Garage no. 37
If you are in more than one car there is also free parking on the next street over (Wellington Street) as well as a paid-for car park out the front "Regency Car Park" and a secure multi-story Q car park three mins walk away.
As the property is so close to York City centre I would advise walking to most local attractions, or if it is your first time in York, why not Walk the City walls which are located just outside the property. This will take you on a 2.6 mile walk around Yorks outline taking you past all the major sites and history of York.
Just outside the property on Hull Road there is an electric scooter and bike renting facility which is done via an app called Trier. This is a very cost effective way to get around town a little quicker and can be fun to explore further afield in York particularly if you take the various cycle loops signposted all around Yorks outskirts. The nearest one is on James Street just behind Lidl.
Uber and taxi companies will also help you navigate around town though York traffic can often make this an expensive trip. Failing that there are lots of Busses with the nearest stop being literally outside the front gates.
If you are looking to explore further than this then York station is a 15 min walk and has great connections to all the way up to Edinburgh down to London, or across to the Coast for Scarborough and Filey.
